Hi Peter,
currently, there is no support for frame handling in webtest. We have
numerous postings on this topic
in the archive.
The usual solution is to "invoke" your mainframe page by its url and proceed
from there.
To test whether your navigation frame contains correct links, invoke the
navigation frame by its
url and use "clicklink" or else. For automatic checking, whether the link
will open in a new frame,
you will need to check for the "target" attribute by scanning the page
source. This can be done
most easily with the regex feature of verifytext or with verifyxpath.
happy testing
Mittie

Subject: [Webtest] how to select frame by webtest?
hi
I am tesing a java application and there is frameset in web page.
The basic operation is click a link in the left frame and show a page on
the right mainframe. And then ,deal with some form in the mainframe page.
How to write code in webtest?
It seems there is no frame support in webtest. I can not use webtest yet?
Thank you
