I have looked at this, but the only place in an HTTP request where the
protocol version is specified is in the initial GET/PUT/POST line - the
specifiable request headers don't include the HTTP version. The RFC is not
too clear on this point, but that's how it seems to work.
I did try specifying an "HTTP-Version" header, but it didn't seem to have
any effect.
