[Webtest] Submitted input fields seem to contain extraneous newlines

Hi all, again. :)

I have a new problem - I am submitting a number of input fields in a form, 
but when the data arrives at the server, it seems to have additional 
newline characters at the beginning of each value. This behaviour isn't the 
same as submitting the form from the browser, and so the application 
behaves differently under test than it does under normal usage. What might 
be causing this?
