SourceForge as well is a good place to put this.  I think that this
project has a thriving user community, but the development community may
need to grow.  However, apache now has the whole "proposal" level of
projects (tapestry is one right now) that is the proving ground for new
projects.

Does anybody know if there have been thoughts to donate this project to
Apache?

That might facilitate faster growth and bugfixes.
