[Webtest] Why are setXxxx "delayed"?

Hi Dierk,

I'm surprised that I haven't become any answer from you on different suggestions 
I've made.
I think that webtest is a great tool and that it can be improved to be greater. 
I've some ideas of improvments related to my needs. I could incorporate them in 
webtest but as it is your (?) baby, I don't want to impose my opinion on you and 
I think decisions should be taken after a consensus appears.
