Sorry ... I'm resending this because I forgot to replace the subject  
"WebTest digest, Vol 1 #436 - 3 msgs" with the real one.  Ugh.

Just wanted to report that I did end up getting self-signed certs to 
work with jdk 1.2.4. I must have been making a mistake I didn't see a 
few weeks ago.
