[Webtest] getting a patch off the archive

Hi Lisa,
I had just done this successfully earlier for another patch, but
when I tried doing it for the one you want, I got a garbled mess. That data
must be corrupt or something. But something is definitely wrong with it,
because the one I did earlier, worked, whereas this one didn't. I know
that doesn't help you, but at least you know you didn't do anything wrong.

Hi Mittie, or whomever can help,
I tried your suggestion with the patch for input type=button most recently
(as far as I could find) posted by Janno (URL
http://lists.canoo.com/pipermail/webtest/2004q1/001436.html), but when I try
to open with WinZip it doesn't recognize the file. What am I missing? I
desperately need this patch. My boss is starting to lose patience with
WebTest, and if I can't get it working more smoothly soon, I won't be able
to get a Java programmer to help do whatever additional tweaks we may need.
Worse still, he might make me use some awful commercial test tool! I think
with this patch for type=button I can cover a good part of our site with
WebTest tests. Then I can recruit one of our programmers to help with the
rest.
Ever grateful,
Lisa
