[Webtest] log4j appenders

Hi Jeannie,
That usually means that log4j.properties or log4j.xml is not found in your
ant classpath. Create the file and stick it in the classpath and you will
be able to define how you want the logging to work.. I believe the default
log4j logger is System.out. I would download log4j
(http://logging.apache.org/log4j/docs/index.html) and get thier default
properties file..

Hi Marc,
Thanks for your reply, and yes, I did have both problems, but I just
downloaded the latest build (per Etienne's suggestion) and the PDF borwser
worked! But I got that infernal warning again:
log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger
(org.pdfbox.pdfparser.PDFParse
r).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
Thanks for all your help (I don't know what I would do without you guys),
Jeannie

Hi Jeannie,
the only thing I've seen is:
<taskdef file="${webtest.home}\webtestTaskdefs.properties">
where I would use a "/" rather than a "\":
<taskdef file="${webtest.home}/webtestTaskdefs.properties">
but I don't think it really matters.
According to your next email, you have quite strange classpath problem: on
the one hand Log4j complains that it has not
been configured, on the other hand the log4j classes can't be found when you
want to make pdf tests. Do you really have
both problem at the same time?
Marc.
