  you can have another target in the ant project that updates the property
file using <replace> that depends on <testSpec> target is done.

  Is there a way to save the setting of certain webtest properties (#{xxx})
  outside the scope of <TestSpec> so they can be used by other Ant commands.

  I think of a <copyproperty> or <saveproperty> command, which the
attributes:
          (ant)property=     (webtest)from=
          optional with an file= attribute to save them on disk.
