[Webtest] verifyxpath fails to select text() nodes
Fri, 20 Aug 2004 14:43:49 +1000
I'm trying to check that a given piece of text occurs after a given HTML
<span>. XPathExplorer verifies that
evaluates to the text node I'm looking for (using the original HTML & the
post-jTidy output -- jtidy-04aug2000r7-dev)
However, using this in <verifyxpath> fails:
"xpath test: //span[id='foo']/following-sibling::text() evaluates to:
, expected value is: Blah blah..."
Also, according to <verifyxpath>,
//span[id='foo']/following-sibling::text() evaluates to an empty nodeset.
Any ideas why there's a discrepancy? Am I doing anything wrong?
