Works like a charm, thank you very much!

you can use <storexpath> inside the repeat loop.
<storexpath xpath="#{count} + 1" property="index"/>

Subject: [Webtest] repeat count start value
We have a form where the fields are named with a number for each row, eg: working_hours__1, working_hours__2, etc. I would like to use repeat to set a value in each field, but repeat's count starts with 0. Is there any way to set the starting count value to 1? I saw someone wrote a patch for it (http://lists.canoo.com/pipermail/webtest/2002q2/000150.html) but I can't use patches. I'm hoping there is a way and the doc just isn't up to date! We could change the way our fields are numbered, but it is not a trivial change.
thanks,
Lisa
