[Webtest] the happy old and New Year

Hi folks,

I'm very happy that you think Canoo WebTest is worth writing a
book about it.

A few thoughts that cross my mind:

I would love to have the community involved, especially the
advanced practicioners.

Time and availability is always a problem. For me and for you.

I accompanied the creation of a lot of books but never wrote one
myself. There seems to be a lot of work beside "writing".

The book needs to be written in english. While my german writing
is considered fairly good by most readers, I really struggle with
writing in english. (I'm sure you already recognized that :-)

I would definitely like to write more than just about the WebTest
technical issues: how to organize automated functional tests,
how to deal with test data, how much effort to expect for getting
the automation running, the key elements of success, the typical
misconceptions, some stories from the field, ...

A good size of the book would be about 150 pages, like the books
of the pragmatic series.

so much for now
Mittie
