I'm already dying to read this book. It would be so helpful!
One way to get a book written is to work on it a little bit every day. At some point you'll need major amounts of continuous time, but you can make a lot of progress with a little steady work.
Since so many people on this list could contribute material, could someplace be set up on the wiki for people to contribute? It would be a way to start.
