[Webtest] Can somebody help me with installation of webtest?

Hi,
  So I'm trying out these different testing tools... and keep running into
installation errors...
    I can't seem to work this one out.
System info: windows xp
java: 1.5
couldn't find a version of ant installed on my system .... though when i
did try installing 1.6.xxx
 things just got worse... so i'll step a way from that... thank you.

here's the problem... i get an exception while trying to run the install
script....
