Try adding junit.jar to ant_home\lib

> Key: WT-42

> I've downloaded the zipped binary files from the Canoo site and have the
> various \bin, \doc and \lib directories extracted just fine and
> everything's looking good. I’m in the Command Prompt window with the
> cursor sitting at the end of a line that looks like this:
>
> C:\Program Files\Webtest\doc\samples>
>
> I type "webtest –buildfile installTest.xml" as instructed and here are
> the last few lines of what I see in the Command Prompt console:
>
> "...C:\Program Files\Webtest\lib\runtime\junit.jar; C:\Program
> Files\Webtest\lib\build; C:\Program Files\Webtest\libzbuild\clover.jar
> org.apache.tools.ant.Main –buildfile installTest.xml
> Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
> Files\Webtest\lib\runtime\ant/jar;C:\Program"
>
> That is how it appears with the directory path seemingly having the
> "C:\Program" coming after the rest of it and with the "/" between the
> "ant" and the "jar" going in the opposite direction to all the others.
>
> I've no doubt that this is a simple set-up issue as I got the same error
> message when first running some Java applications, but adding the
> directory I wss running from to teh system CLASSPATH variable fixed it in
> that case. It doesn't in this one.
>
> Extra info: Java is installed and I can run applets and applications fine
> and have the JAVA_HOME and CLASS_PATH system variables set up OK (as far
> as I'm aware). I also have ANT downloaded separately, but I'm not sure
> that this is necessary as I got the impression the necessary files to
> install Canoo's Webtest were all contained in the binary downloads.
