Yes, it's been tested against Firefox and IE, and I was under the impression
it was OK with both.

I take it there is nothing I can do about this problem until someone either
fixes htmlunit, or alters the script?

Hi Jon,

you're right, the error indicates that the event variable is null. I guess
that the reason is that is an access to event as global variable rather that
event handler parameter (the way IE handles events) which is not currently
supported by htmlunit [1]. Does your application work in Firefox too?
