Hi Mike,

this makes the problem coherent again what is already a first step.

There is currently an opened feature request by htmlunit concerning NTLM
credentials:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1472307&group_id=47038&atid=448269
It seems that the DefaultCredentialsProvider offers way to return an NTLM
credential for a proxy but not for an "end" site.
Can you try to write your own quick and dirty CredentialProvider and set it
on the webClient like this:

CredentialsProvider provider = new CredentialsProvider()
{
  Credentials getCredentials(AuthScheme scheme, String host, int port,
boolean proxy)
  {
System.out.println("scheme: " + scheme);
    return new NTCredentials("username","password", "yourHost",
"yourDomain");
  }
}
webClient.setCredentialsProvider(provider);

I don't have any experience with NTLM neither with Kerberos. If you don't
find the solution, perhaps could you ask on the commons-httpclient mailing
list.

Marc.
