Howdy Srinivas,

1) I'd use verifyXPath
(http://webtest.canoo.com/webtest/manual/verifyXPath.html), and specifically
look for the disabled attribute.

2) See http://webtest.canoo.com/webtest/manual/verifySelectField.html  The page
should give you all you need.
