I use:

    <setproxy proxyhost="${proxyservername}" proxyport="${proxyport}"
        proxyuser="${proxyuser}" proxypassword="${proxypassword}"

where the ant variables are set earlier. We actually use JeraAntTasks
to prompt the user for the proxyuser and proxypassword.
